A concept that has proven itself, because the brand was awarded the German Brand Award 2019 twice. The awards "Winner" in the category "Excellent Brands - Tourism" and "Special Mention" in the category "Excellent Brands - Service Brand of the Year" confirm an outstanding brand experience - for the benefit of hosts and guests.

With more than 410,000 listed hosts, is the largest accommodation database on the Internet, making it one of the three world's largest hotel intermediaries. Europe-wide hotel guide finds the ideal host for each guest

Via the online hotel portal, the potential guests can find their desired individual hotel quickly and easily thanks to the finest filter criteria, fast and accurate data management and the detailed presentations of the hosts. On the contrary to other online hotel portals, hotel-ami does not charge any commissions from the hotels or guests, merely a reasonable annual fee from the hosts. In addition, the database also includes hotels and hosts as well as restaurants that are not under contract with hotel-ami. Booking and contact are made directly through the hotel. This saves the guest costs and increases the personal connection to the hotel. At the same time, the hosts win guests who match their offer; this in turn strengthens the bond between the host and the hotel-ami. About the German Brand Award

With more than 1,250 submissions from 19 countries, the German Brand Award was able to achieve a great international response this year. The award recognizes best achievements in brand management and their effectiveness and is one of the most important German brand prizes. The top-class jury is composed of independent, interdisciplinary experts from companies, science, consulting, services and agencies, and assesses the submissions according to the criteria of independence and brand identity, brand impact, differentiation to the competition and relevance to the target group. The German Brand Award is open to companies, agencies, service providers and marketers as well as non-profit and government organisations from all sectors worldwide. The competition was initiated by the German Brand Institute. The aim of the institute, founded by the German Design Council and GMK Brand counselling, is to strengthen brand management as a key success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment.
